Sometimes all it takes is a few turns of the steering wheel to reset a service light. Check out these reset procedures to see if it will solve the problem on your car.

Copy and paste into your browser:  http://www.startekinfo.com/StarTek/doclist.jsp

Scroll down to post date: 03/12/09  Mercedes-Benz Reset Service Indicator Guide

and then download the pdf. file.  You can always see if the service reset is an option for your chassis.  Go to control units - body - instrument cluster with service indicator reset.  If its not available you must do it manually.
