Have you ever received the message "Download failure" on your scanner? Pairing the Bluetooth may be the solution...
The Bluetooth connection on your TOOL should take care of itself when both the smartbox and scanner are powered on. There is a blue light on both pieces that should remain solid when properly paired. If either light is flashing, please do the following:
Make sure there are no other wireless devices (cell phones, other tools), as they conflict with the signals.
1. Turn on scanner, have smartbox powered on (through a vehicle is OK) 2. Select START 3. TOOLS 4. RUN 5. Select USR 6. PDA 7. BIN 8. BT Pair (bottom of the list) 9. Select OK 10. Select OK
If this does not pair the bluetooth, try powering down and reconnecting again. Otherwise, contact your distributor.
