hi there please provide the engine size i assume it is a 3.9 efi if this is the case they will be a aux air valve possiable sticking from cold, there is also a air bypass screw on the throttle body .. the throttle position sensor signal voltage is worth a check this can cause the iscv to hold the throttle up there is a manual reset procedure for the iscv depending on engines,,
ignition on disconnect the wiring to the iscv, ignition off reconnect the wiring to the valve ignition on
i would try this maybe 2 or 3 times to push the valve out until it reaches it stop then start the car ( it might stall ) hold the revs up until it will idle again then road test hopefully this will fix...

Sorry for the delay, I had chemo treatments last week. vin SALJY1241TA531170 4.O V8 ver. 27.00 miles 75010 scanner reading TPS 0.57 Idle ref speed 794.00 Idle air control 113.00 steps Stored closed throttle voltage 0.07
The way I understand the ECU needs to see the "stored closed throttle voltage " to determine when to activate the IAC valve, with the value at 0.07 (way to low) the ECU does not go into Idle mode. If I can reset this SCTV may correct my problem. Infomation on this system shows the factory scanner has a relearn procedure.
