Saab 9-7x

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to connect to one of these trucks?  I did not see this model listeed in the Saab software.

I emailed Launch and this is their reply:

We have not completed the menu on SAAB soft yet, please try the GM soft.
The path: 2008 year/LD Trk/MPV/Incomplete/SAAB.
And we will release the update in SAAB soft in Dec.

The vehicle I was testing is now gone, but I never got a chance to try this, can anyone out there verify this exists?

Thanks

Mr. G

Old thread....but placing this here for what it's worth... might save some one hours of false chasing a wheel speed sensor issue.....

I will spare you long read... my 2006 9 7x had a ABS buzz problem at stop no DTC codes or lights.

My ABS capable Launch CRP129 Scanner (authentic and registered) when selecting my specific 2006 SAAB 9 7x to datastream check showed a Right Front wheel sensor always at zero. I chased this RF sensor issue thru new hub, replaced wiring and even a used EBCM swap. Always reading zero, despite DMM checks saying all is well??? Even after fully repaired and now back 100% - it will report RF wheel speed at zero.

Finally I found that in fact the CRP 129 Scanner is giving a wrong reading...a software glitch?...because when plugged into my 2006 but selected CRP129 telling it was a 2007 (and up) 9 7x models (although I don't trust 100%) and also when I scanned it as a GM Envoy too all wheels read.

Well it was in fact the Left front Sensor that was hit or miss now (when in other model datastream mode) - that I could drive it and see RF was fine. Was a long event to learn this lesson - GEBUS

I know this SUV step child can have OEM quirks including thru the years... so something to ponder when scanning and I know I will dual "model inputs" scan in future.
