I have been noticing over the past few months that Launch and it's R&D team seem to be listening to what the customers (us) want. We hollered for a Ford Cylinder Power Balance test, and viola a few months later, it appears in an update for the 2005-2007 Focus.
Shortly thereafter, we asked for more GM compatibility, and they listened by giving us more acutations and service bay functions in the latest update. It might not be immediately, but rest assured programming software is much harder than fixing some cars!
So after talking to product support at Launch USA over some time, I have been submitting any issues that I have noticed with my Diagun, by sending them a screenshot with my problems. Usually this gets the most attention and attended to asap.
Here's what I do:
1. When available, hit the print button on the Diagun, this will allow you to save the file as a .bmp or graphic file.
2. When you select .bmp, it will show you a browse window that is actually the Diagun itself. Usually what I do is create a new folder somewhere on the CF CARD NOT THE DIAGUN. I learned if you saved to the Diagun, it would erase since it's Flash memory.
3. When you get back to your shop PC, remove the CF card and pop it in the USB adapter that you normally use for updates. From here, you can go into My Computer, and double click whatever removable disk the CF card is.
4. From here just locate your saved .bmp folder, and you can drag & drop these files to your PC. Once on the PC you can email these images along with any relevant tech info to: support@launchtechusa.com attn: R&D dept
