This version is issued in 10 languages: simplified Chinese, English, traditional Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, French, Portuguese, and Arabic. Compared with the previous version, 1. For model 911(964/993), the following systems have been added with specific functions. (1) DME system: version information, read DTCs, clear DTCs, and read inputted signal functions. (2) Tiptronic and ABS systems: version information, read DTCs, clear DTCs, read data streams, and read inputted signal functions. (3) Airbag system: version information, read DTCs, and clear DTCs functions. 2. For the models of 911(997), Cayman, and Boxster_987, the DME system has been added with version information, read DTCs, and clear DTCs functions. 3. The codes structure has been optimized, besides, the new encryption algorithm has been added. Note: Because of optimization for software configuration, please download the display program V16.50 or advanced to match the diagnostic software of this version or advanced. And upgrade the Super-16 connector with the program V10.04 or advanced. Good stuff!!! I love to see Launch develop software on older vehicles and not just the latest and greatest.
Question for those in the know at Launch: Will Launch produce/sell the Porsche OBDI round connector that is required to communicate with all pre-1996 Porsches? Most of the 964/993 models are OBDI only. Only (1996-1998) 993 will work with the 16 pin connector.
