Been trying madrly with the x431 and last BMW software version to reset bracke service in this vehicuel but nothing happens.

Service is quite overdue and do not know if there is something missing or a different procedure has to be done to reset it.

Thanks in adnvace for your kind support.

CBS maintenance is where you will find the reset.  Did you try that yet?

Yes

I have already try that.

Seems to reset and few second after that service remainder appears again.

We have done bracke service already.

Does the wear on rotors may affect? Or condition on bracke fluid?

Regards
Rat

This is from another forum:

----------------------------------------------------------------

We often see cases where availability is at 255% after reset, there are several possible causes of this:

Faulty or incorrectly fitted wear sensor or a non-genuine wear sensor.

Also this will happen if you try to reset the CBS to 100% on a sensor that has entered the wear region already or if you attempt to reset it before replacing the sensor.

In some cases it is not possible to reset the CBS correctly after it has gone to 255% even if the issue has been rectified, in this case re-coding the DSC control unit may allow you to reset it correctly.

--------------------------------------------------------

I had an unusual one this week. Both front & rear pads were reset. Each time the Increment counter increased by 1 but the % stayed @255.

After 2 attempts I tried recoding the DSC. No change. Also, the wear sensor codes would not clear from DSC.

The Service counter was 18 for front & 6 for rear.
I "corrected" the fronts back to 1st Service & then started correcting the rears to 1st service - (use 80% each time).
When the rears were brought back to 1 then I could reset the front & rears as normal. Codes then cleared.

Car was a 2007 E92 335d

----------------------------------------------------

I hope this helps.

Eric

Can't help you past that one.  CBS maintenance has been a problem for awhile now even with OE level tools such as the Autologic.  Best thing would be to record as much info as possible, vin, ABS module id, etc and submit that info to Launch tech support so they can have engineers look it over and see if its a software problem.

Maintenance - CBS correct is just after CBS reset.

It was added in version 40.00 for BMW.

Problem was solved.

Faulty bracke sensors was the issue.

Here is what we have found.

Apparently new BMW backe sensors have some sort of variable resistor efect.

Faulty sensor has 0.8 ohm or more and will not display a warning problem but will block from resetin system (CBS correction) casuing confusion when diagnostic.

New sensors has arround 0.5 ohm resistance or less and will let the CBS been corrcted with no problems.

Just to let you knwo how we did solve the problem.
