Try going back through the precedure and make sure you didn't miss a step.

1. Make sure the electronic Parking brake is OFF to begin with

2. After entering the vehicle manufacturer (VW/AUDI) then choose system “53-

Parking Brake”

3. Select the option “Basic Settings”

4. Enter the number “007” click ok.

The brake calipers will now remain open for the pads to be changed. The EPB light

should be flashing.

Closing the rear calipers once the pads have been changed

5. Re-enter “Basic Settings” under “53-Parking Brake”

6. Select the option “Basic Settings”

7. This time enter the number “006” click ok.

The brake calipers will now close and the EPB light stops flashing.

Function test or rear brake calipers

8. Re-enter “Basic Setting” under “53-Parking Brake”

9. Select the option “Basic Settings”

10. Enter the number “010” click ok.

The brake calipers will now open and close three times.

Adjust the brake pad minimum thickness

11. Re-enter “Basic Settings” under “53-Parking Brake”

12. Select the option “Adaptations”

13. Enter the number “006”

14. Use the + or – to adjust the minimum thickness of brake pads before the warning

lamp illuminates. Values between 3 and 14mm will be accepted.
