According to the Chrysler menu on your scan tool 'Help for choice menu and connector', you need it to communicate with Chrysler vehicles from 1996-2000.
Thanks. The reason I ask is My Diagun already got the OBDII Bluetooth connector. So for that particular system I have to connect this Chrysler-16 adapter via the cable to my OBDII bluetooth connector.
How come this connector was not included with my GDS and PAD? I have been having communication problems,,,, until my Mac distributor asked techline, I nedd this connector! All ads state these scan tools connect and diagnose all OBD 1 and OBD 2 vehicles, nowheres does it say, you need to buy this 200.00 connector! I already spent 7000.00 between the 2 scanners!
Hi, a while ago I bought the x431 Idiag, I used chrysler vehicles, I downloaded the update for chrysler, my problem is that I can not communicate with the pcm / ecu engine or transmission modules in vehicles 1997-2002 (non can sistem) within chrysler menu, I can only do it, right through the generic OBDII option.
any ideas or infoirmacion since I'm new in this topic
