Through research I have determined there is a coding requirement between the door module and the door module switch, when you replace the DDM (driver door module, same applies to front passenger side). Currently this is not available in our software for the E60 I was testing, but if you can accomplish this step the relearn to the vehicles' DME/EWS will take care of itself.
