I was just wondering if there was any way to export the CRecorder data stream to a file type that could be opened in a spreadsheet program, like Excel. The CRecorder client software data stream and data plot functions work fine, but I'm just a bit more adept at moving around, filtering, plotting and printing data in a spreadsheet.
When I use the export command from the Upload Data screen, I'm only able to generate a file type *.x431. I've tried opening it from Excel as a comma-separated value file, and I can see the data in there, but just not in a useable format. Any suggestions?
I would also like to be able to export the data. I'm having a problem with a hunting idle and the guy that I need to help me with it is 300 miles away. It would be perfect if I could just send him the data so he could see it without asking him to install the crecorder software.
