SKC with X431?

Is it possible to read Volkswagen SKC's with the LAUNCH X431? I've got a 2003 New Beetle and I've browsed through the options but I'm not sure where to find the SKC or where to enter the SKC to login to the Cluster.

I searched and found the VW Special Features documentation that mentions the Inst. Cluster recoding, but after browsing through those menus I found no mention of SKC.

I have a VAGdashCOM but for some reason it is unable to succesfully read the EEPROM to find the SKC, hence why I want to try the X431.

Thanks in advance!

I do not believe the X431 can pull SKCs. I am not sure if ANY tool can extract them now.

From what I hear, even the VW Techs at the dealership no longer sees the actual SKC, it stays within the OEM scanner and gets inputed directly into the vehicle, essentially cutting out the technician.

Let us know what you find.

Mr. G

Edit: I saw you also wondered where to input this, I believe you will also need a LOGIN once you access the immobilzer.  This also comes from VW I believe.
