Error in communication on all volvos

Have a master that always says error in communication also have a friend with a master which does the same thing I think its ever since the display driver switch. how do I find out which version of software was the last with the old display driver? Want to format and install old display with old version software to try.

Kind of tricky as I believe you will just have to use the new driver date as a point to manually search the vehicle SW.

For example, say the new driver came out 7-1-2012, well any software that was updated after that date would be optimized for the new driver.

I believe you can go into the older SW versions, select them and read/select 'info' to find out when it was released. It should bring up a window with this information and what they updated.
