Switch back to v41.00 for older Nissan...

Hi guys,

Just had a problem accessing a 2000 Altima with v41.10, called Launch T/S and they suggested using v41.00 with the OE NISSAN 14+16, using the 16 pin side first.

This got into the vehicle with no issues, Launch says they will fix this in the next update.

Hope this helps,

-Mr. G

Remember that all Nissan vehicles prior to 2000, you must use the Nissan 14 pin connector if you want anything other than generic OBDII.  From 1996 to 1999 you will find both a 14 pin and a 16 pin connector.  Use the 14 if its there.

Nissan model years 2000-2001 were a major pain for all aftermarket scan tools.  I don't know what Nissan did to their protocol those years but I see many communication issues with different brands of aftermarket scanners on those cars.
