Does anyone know how to identify or know what Launch uses on it's vehicle application pages: Engine type is determined - how? Engine is determined how? Example 2007-2010 C Class, Chassis W204 engine type is listed as MESFI, Engine is listed as DCTS34 where do you find this info ... called the Benz dealer they do not know
The ME-SFI is the engine management system (computer designation), check its (control unit) location and look for identity #s. In our case we have version 9.7
On Launch's engine listing this is the coding for what the Launch will accomplish, had nothing to do with the engine on the car

the engine should be a m266 that is stamped on the block also using the x431 it will say 169 as the VIN decode then the engine is the next 169.***
