Many customers buy CRP123, but after they bought, most of customers don't know how to register and udpate it on line, now we write this steps to help our customer to complete the register and update it on line:

Fristly, PLZ go to mycar.x431.com this website to register your Launch CRP123 on line, on the top of right corner of website, PLZ choose register then input all information following the indicate, after you fill all information in the page, then you finish register.

Thanks mrzog but still no luck
i can log in but when i download the update tool the zip they send is empty.i am at work so it is possible that our firewall here at the shop is blocking it because it is coming from china.
i am also still getting the download failed msg from the us updater
i'll keep trying

success i found my problem.the windows firewall was blocking the download.once i turned it off I got it the first try so for anybody that is having a hard time getting updates,turn off any firewall you are using and try again hope this helps somebody else travis

i just got the crp123 and i attempted to update the software and now the crp123 says "lib files not exist". i look into the sd card and its blank... any suggestions??

***Edit--- i figured it out. the TF card reader was the issue. i used a sd card adapter, formatted the TF card and updated all the firmware and software. i would recommend a sd card adapter instead of the diagun TF card reader. such a big headache but glad i figured it out...***

It took few tries while downloading the updater. After that it went smooth for me.

Now my CRP123 unit completed the upgrade.
