Hello to those that do care and or need to know! I purchased over the span of 1 year both a Launch GDS and Launch Pad thru my Mac Tools distributor. My question is... Why is the Smart OBD2-16e connector missing in both tools? To my dissapointment, without this connector, neither tool will properly scan Chrysler vehicles, 2002 ? and earlier. I have spent 7000.00 between these 2 tools and and am strapped for cash, and feel I have been MISLEAD! These connectors need to be included with domestic sales! I have 2 useless scanners now when a Chrysler vehicle comes into the shop! Step up Launch, make it right for all domestic USA customers, if not, I will keep posting my dissapointments, and poor experiences with Launch!
New info, Launch Pad has no adaptor available, to work with Chrysler vehicles 1996 to 2002. The Launch Pad is a joke!! Both Mac Tools and Launch lied, for there is no disclosure about this fact! The Pad is a DUD!!
Still no software or Chrysler 16 adaptor available for ALL Dodge Chrysler vehicle communication 1996 to 2002! for Launch Pad or GDS... why is it so tough for Launch to correct this issue.... for those that purchased them?
Had a 2007 BMW sedan 528 with a dash warning indicator when turning corners. I have a Launch Pad fully updated bought from MAC Tolls for 4000 dollars, what a waste! It would not communicate at all with the BMW auto mode, manual mode, 16 pin, wireless, and wired. A total dissapointment!!!!! I used a SnapOn Verus, and it scanned all modules, gave me codes etc.... Why wtf? nthis Launch tool is useless!!! First it wont scan chrysler vehicales all! 1996 to 2002! without a chrysler 16 adaptor, now this!! I am tired of lack of support for this totally uselss tool! Take it back! It is a pile of crap! Snap On rules!!! Launch is crap!
