CREADER VI+ NOT UPDATING WITH WINDOWS 7

Hey everyone just picked this tool up a month ago, CREADER VI+ and it is not working with Windows 7. I downloaded the latest update and registered the product online but as soon as I plug it in ats not compatible. Any suggestions? I followed all the instructions to a T. I just would like to be able to have it updated with the latest software.

i had the same problem, i went to the launchtechusa page went to the creader VI and hit download, magically it started downloading then, on my desktop a launch icon appeared, it linked to the unit and updated it! i was about to send it back, was looking for the tech hotline number and clicked the download thing to see what happend. the page in the manual said crecorder.com, that didnt work at all.

I just went through the same issue to update mine. What you have to do is go to the website and download the latest update to you computer. After downloading, open it to install. It will first install the updater to your computer and then it will install the drivers to communicate with the tool. You may have to disable your anti-virus before installing because it may prevent the install. Once you have installed the drivers, you can plug in the tool and launch the updater from your desktop.
