just got a crp 123 and tried to update by the instruction book, but the result was illegitmate files. then I found the video here and it worked but now I have oil reset box (from the first time I tried to update) and makes the unit lock up until it is unplugged.
could I wipe the tf card and reinstall the files needed from the the update program. or what file do I need to remove to remove the oil reset box.

when you press the diagnose icon it goes to another screen ebd2/eobd icon in a box a scan icon in a box,a review icon in a box and a oil light reset icon in a box. I have seen another version, a crp 129 that includes the oil reset function. but the crp 123 does not come with it I guess that's why the tool locks up when I select it.also the icons look different now from when I bought it.it seemed like the icons changed on that screen after the first time I tried to update it and it did not work.
