I am disappointed in the fact that if you lose your connector and have them pair a new one, then you are able to get your old one back it is useless. They are unable to re-pair it to the scan tool and can not give you its pin to allow you to connect it to another Bluetooth device to re-purpose the connector since you now own 2.
You lost your original connector. Launch is nice to activate another connector.
let's say you lost your house key and you got a different door knob with new key. Then you find the original key later. That once lost key is not gonna open the new door knob.
I think what matters most is that you have functioning scanner with new connector.
