I also encounter the same problem. I bought my x431 idiag last dec for 120$. and bought 3 software for almost 200$. And untill now its useless!
I research different forums, and find out that many people are also experiencing the same problem. But launch is not even answering how to fix this problem. They are ignoring the reports about this matter. I hope they will give a fix for this soon!
Or else x431 launch is no longer worth its price.

The X431 iDiag is not sold or supported by LaunchTechUSA. Any issues regarding this should be taken up with your local Launch dealer. There is a possibility this device was not sold to you by an authorized Launch dealer, which can cause these issues.

so if we purchased an x431 from a 'non authorized launch dealer' and didn't know this, you system would still let us register our unit and pay for modules? So you will take our money but not offer any support? Sound like you didn't think it through very well when you were handing them out for free in Vegas!
