Does Launch have a customer service dept ??........I have called customer service 2 times...all I ever get is a automated system...I have left 2 messages...NO REPLY...I have emailed to the address on your website....all my email is returned as not deliverable......What do I have to do to talk to someone or have someone return my call about the problem with my CPR 123 ???......My problem is this.....I purchased the tool new from my Matco tool rep...I was told I needed to download the latest update before use...which I did from the Launch website...tool works great EXCEPT...it will NOT read anything on a Ford or Toyota...Get error message saying can not connect to vehicle...I have used this tool on Saab ,Chrysler , Several General Motors , Kia....But every time I plug into a Ford or Toyota..I get error message and can not read any data or codes...

All of the CRP123/129 series scan tools have a micro sd memory card which is installed on to your windows pc/laptop to download the updates.
If you ever have a problem with various models NO communication error message you MUST reformat your existing memory card and download again.
BUT, before your reformat your memory card you MUST recover the login register code located in the main HELP menu and tool information screen.
Once you have recovered your units register code you can go ahead and reformat your existing memory card.
Then you will open the DIY update interface on your windows desktop icons and login with the units serial number and register code.
Please note: the register code is the login default password.
to the poster who said customer service answered quickly.....I have called 3 times...I waited on hold each time for over 10 min. and no one answered...all I ever got was a recording saying my call was number 8 or 7 and the number never went down...I read where I may need to update my tool again as it WILL NOT READ A FORD OR TOYOTA....I keep getting error messages that the program did not install correctly on my laptop...I tried on my home PC...same error message...I tried on a friends PC same error message,,,Launch must have a problem with their download if it wont install correctly on 3 different PC's...I am VERY dissapointed with the LAUNCH CPR 123...I was told how great it was by my MATCO tool dealer...Well he may get this tool back if this problem with not reading a FORD or TOYOTA can not be fixed..

This is strange. I have a crp123 and have never had any issues with vehicle connections. If you have only done one update, the memory card would not be full. Are you using the launchdiy update program? Also make sure those manufacturers are checked off on your download list. I have spoken with customer service several times and it has always been pleasant, sometimes you have to wait on hold but the service is excellent. What does the error message say?
