Hi all, from Australia, Just started using my Creader Vlll and not having much luck, New out of the box, will not fully read a 2008 Mitsubishi colt, as I need to access air bag/SRS system for codes, same with a 2012 Ssangyong, limited access. I had better luck when I plugged it into a 2014 VW gained full access. I have registered, seen the current available updates for this creader and its up to date. I bought this scanner/reader as I was under the impression that this tool would read & scan with full access to other levels like airbag/SRS/ without getting, NO, limited or partial access. Have others encountered the same problems? Regards Moz from Aus.
The Creader Vlll is an overseas unit so I wouldn't know to much of it but as for the CRP129, Its is an all around tool it can read your generic OBDll along with Vehicle Specific. You have some options most others do not like performing oil light resets, Electronic Parking Brakes, Steering Angle Sensor(SAS). I recommend we Clear the SD card and we download the new car lines onto the SD card.
Sincerely,
Anthony From Launch Tech USA.

I had problem with my CRP129 for a little bit. Couldn't use Oil reset on 2007 Mitsubishi Endevor. I knew that it should work since I've used it before.
Hi all, thanks for your input, l am quite aware that you get what you pay for, but if it says on the advertising that it will work on SRS systems you would expect the product to work. Buyer beware.
Hi all, l have registed and it's not a counterfeit, l have looked at the updates and it is up to date, All 3 Vehicles are late model OBD11. I am not a novice at using readers and scanners. I've been using them for years. So l don't think blaming other factors is appropriate when the obvious fault lies within the product itself.
