hi guy. i got my 129 today. so i do everything i have to do i dowloand the update but at the end it tells me its done but a few cars have faild to downloan. but when i put my sd car back in it wont do any update. any clue whats going on
If your are trying to update the memory card and the updates start and abruptly stop, or get to end and then stop, then your memory may have reached full capacity. The memory card included in only 1gb max. capacity.
The first step is to recover the register code from the tools main HELP menu, then open tool information screen and scroll down to the register code.
You MUST write down and record the register code PRIOR to re-formatting the micro sd memory card. Reformatting is easily done thru main windows start menu or My Pc, This PC menus.
After you have reformated the micro sd card and is completely empty, only then can you log back in thru the Launch DIY user icons on your windows desktop icons.
You must enter the unit serial number and the password which is actually the register code you recovered from the main HELP menu Tool Info.
Once you are logged in successfully you can also verify the location of the micro sd memory card on your USB ports drivers. Just to make sure you are downloading updates directly on to the card and NOT the PC's hard drive or other storage locations.
Please be patient and wait for the User Download Interface to load up completely and you should see a list of downloadable software listed by vehicle manufactures in alphabetical order. Just click on the DOWNLOAD tab to begin downloads.
