CRP 123 won't upload to pc

after I scan my 2000 chev blazer and try to download file to my pc, I get error in communication please check.

1.use a newer version of PC update tool.

2. the pc update tool is open and not busy.

what is the problem and how do I fix this.

Do you have the new updater? www.launchtechusa.com/assets/products/CRP09182014.exe This was recently changed. You need to uninstall the current then install the new one.
