Is the software update for the CReader V the same for the OBDbook?

I believe the upgrade software is different between the tools. Here is a direct link to the "Download Center" for the CReader V/ET 97:

It seems there are two different versions of the upgrade software for the CR-V, mostly just a language difference. There is also a version for the Mac branded tools as well.
