Having 2 problems with this vehicle. First,I am unable to do any actuations under engine control. The tests are shown on the tool but when I select one, nothing happens.
Second, when testing ABS or ESP, if the engine is running, all the instrument cluster warnning lamps having to do with brake or stability are on. If I back the tool out of the ABS or BAS module the warnning lamps turn off. Other than turning on the lamps the tool works correctly & will do actuations on the brake system. Is the tool commanding the lamps on, or is it putting a load on the module causing the module to turn the lamps on because it thinks there is a problem? No codes are set when lamps turn on.
I am using version 33.05 and have tried both the 16C & CAN 2 connectors.
Any suggestions?

It is normal for all the lights to come on when engine running and accessing
ABS. The factory tool does this as well. In Diagnosis modes, ABS systems
are deactivted.

As for activations, what activations are you trying to do?

Any engine controls. I tried to activate several diffrent things, I remember one was fuel pump but don't remember the others. I was just playing with the tool ,seeing if updating my software helped any with mercedes. I have never been able to do any engine actuations on MB with this tool.
