Software version 35.0 will not read out nor clear Air Bag faults, it will only ID the controller. I loaded version 34.05 and it did read out and clear the faults just fine. I assume a bug in the most recent software update.

While Mercedes Benzes can be tricky, I know the Launch works really well for these vehicles. One of the tricks I always recommend is to have multiple versions of the same manufacturers software on the tool. 

For example, when I update to the latest MBZ software, I also add a very early version ( 31-33 ), a mid-range version (34-36), and the latest version.

That way if I ever run into a problem I can always go back and try earlier software without having to reinstall it again.

I did try a mid range version (look again at my post) however, I will got back load the earliest version, albeit, obvioulsy very early version will not include newer cars  Thanks again for tip!
