2002 Land Rover Discovery II SALTY12462A743912 Launch versions 29.22 and 29.21 will not access Air Bag system nor the Cruise Control system. Am using SMART connector. Any one out there know of a workaround to access this system?

Have you given the OBDII-16c a shot? The v1.4.2 connector guide lists it as an a suggestion.

Nope..just tried it, BTW, per Coyote's advice, SMART connector is preferred for manufacturer systems (Body, AirBag, Chaissis systems)

Have you updated your Display program? 

Can you communicate with anything? If not, can you communicate through OBD II generic software?

We do have software for airbags and cruise control for this vehicle.

Yes, I can comunicate with all other modules EXCEPT these two. Bug in the software.

Hey coyote....OK, I hear ya on the connetors, but my experience has been if ?? the Connector Guide has an option of either OBDII -16c or SMART , then I will be able to access more systems using the SMART. This is something I have proven several times.

BTW, my customer is waiting to bring the SAAB back as soon as you get me the Super 16. Once I have it in hand, I will contact him and try for a second go on the Body systems.
