I posted this question in the wrong spot before I think.
I am new to the launch scan tool. I am not sure what it can and cant do yet. I am installing a climate control head next week in a 99 BMW 323i. I am told by the dealer it has to be recoded to read farenheight as it will read celcius from the factory. Would I be able to recode or program it with the x431 tool.

Typically we can code most modules replaced with new modules to BMW's. As for converting celsius to farenheit on the module, we do not have an option for doing so in our software. This is mostly due to the fact of it requiring a "flash" of data into the module, which we do not do.
