I've had trouble myself with Subarus and CRecorders. They remind me of the Chrysler 16 pin issue.

Does the LED flash as your driving or does it quit? This is typically the indicator if it will record or not.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the quick reply. It will flash between 3 and 6 times with a constant frequency then go solid and repeat.

I have a CReader IV and it works great so I was hoping for the same. Strange that two products from the same manufacturer would work differently. Maybe different chips.

also having problems getting info from a 01 Outback Limited. when trying to upload, I got "no data stored"
the blue light stays on steady, it doesn't flash.
