A friend was trying to use the Volvo software on his Diagun on a 2004 S40, and whenever he accessed the CEM or DIM module, it would cause all of the lights in the dash to come on, and they could only be reset via disconnecting the battery.
I have made the Launch engineers aware of this, and I am waiting for a response.
