2007 camry hybrid ..... vin JTNBB46K773000178   production date 3- 06.



dtc  retrieved  with launch is B1826 OPEN IN SQUIB CIRCUIT (LH)....

   the code decription in my service information system  is b1826 open  right side

   i  found a poor connection under  right side front seat

After giving this information to someone with a factory tool, I was told, "We just check(ed) the TOYOTA factory tool, and the description of this function is same with the factory tool."

B1826:Open in Side Squib (LH) Circuit

B1821:Open in Side Squib (RH) Circuit

thanks.. that's probably why the launch gave the wrong info....the factory tool is  wrong also

Toyota: B1826 Open in side squib (LH) circuit LH = driver side RH= passenger side ... has been this way since the beginning of time.

are you saying  dtc  B1826 is Open in Side Squib (LH) Circuit

 and dtc B1821 is Open in Side Squib (RH) Circuit ????????????

I have just had this fault: B1826 Open in side squib (LH) circuit, on a Peugeot 107 / Toyota Aygo 1,0 year 2007 i was trying to fix the connector under the drivers seat (left side) and the fault could not be ereased, after this i googled this side and then i fix the connector under the passenger seat (right side) and now i could erease the fault and the car is okay now.

So there must be a fault in the test equipment, Launch Diagun.
