What's the easiest way you all reset the service light on 2005+ VW/Audi vehicles? The way through Instrument Cluster isn't cutting it. Inlcude manual procedures if you know them.
i just did a 2006 rabbit using the procedure in the owner's manual ...i don't remember the procedure but one step has ignition on and one step has ignition off
i just did a 2007 audi and the manual way is the quickest over ANY diagnostic tool. you just switch off ignition, press and hold the service button (looks like a wrench) then switch on the ignition, you should see the "service in -- miles -- days", press the reset button (next to service button) so you see the same service message, and i think it was less than 10 seconds and the display was cleared. you will also have to set the next service. this was taken from the car's user manual.
