I have yet to find any information on connecting two vehicles at once. The smartboxes are serialised to the tool so I don't know how this would work. I think you would have to buy a smartbox from China.
I talked to tech support yesterday. They said i'd have to order it from my distributor(Cornwell, in my case), and that it would take 3-4 months to get. You'd think that as many Diagun that they sell, that they'd have 'em in stock. The second smartbox uses the cables while the first one is still useing bluetooth. The owners manual vaguely describes the set-up on pages 13 & 14, with a pic showing the set-up.
Okay. I did a bunch of research. I don't know who you talked to at launch but what you need to do if you really want to do this is call launch and talk to their sales dept. For around $400 it is possible to order a smartbox that is custom serialized to your tool. Any random smartbox from a dealer will NOT work. The smartbox has to be coded to your serial number and it takes about 2 months to do so. Your tool will NOT communicate to a smartbox that does not have a matching serial number. And yes, one would be cabled and one would be bluetooth
One Diagun could work for 2smartboxes,one by using bluetooth and the other shall be cable. But the 2samrtboxes shall be the same serial number, otherwise,it won't work
