So, I bought a x431 tool set from someone and I wanted to do my update on the software. After I registered I downloaded the latest software, I inserted my CF card in the x431, turned on the unit ... to find out that the serial number of the smartbox can not be detected .. okay ... double checked the serial number on the tool and on all the other papers to find out that they don't match ... there is a 9 on the smartbox that should be a 6 in the serial nuber like on all the other papers and boxes ... I must specify again that I was able to log into the main website in china and register and all that ...
the seller was private off of craigslist, now I know why he didn't want it anymore ... any sugestions how I could get this resolved? or am I pretty much with out any options?
