I have mostly used the Launch Tool version 44.00 software to ectract codes and  set the steering angle  sensor and tried a few things it can't do yet but I have a 2002 325i wagon and the customer would like the daytime running lights disabled and a few other door locking and light settings adjusted,  I find on the software were to do it but i get an error message that says this info is very important to us email to....  I have the key on, engine off, neutral, radio off, hvac off, hood closed, super 16 connector.  I dont see the round one under the hood.  Can't find any instuctions.  tried a couple versions of software from 38.00 to 44.00.  Am I dooing something wrong or was this feature never finished in the software or is the car broke.  I have no codes in any of the modules i can find    thankyou very much

Sounds like the function you are looking for isnt completed in the software.

Have you emailed that information to: support@launchtechusa.com ?

That is the direct USA tech support email.

thankyou very much.  I will print out the report and email it the the address you shown and the one the tool says if it is different.  I have lots to learn on this tool (exspecially europe) and this forum is the easiest help

after reading Mr Goodwrenche's

2002 E46 DME to EWS Resync Tip post I am going to try the BMW 16 connector.  I've been using the super 16.  I tried on a E46 and could not make simple coding without error.  I'm going to try it on that one too.

Maybe I think you should change a high quality Launch diagnostic tool. I know a obd2 tools website,I have bought a Launch X431 on it.Let me the most happy is that they have good service attitude.No matter what problems I have, their customer service can always help me to solve this problem as soon as possible.Maybe it is helpful. www.obd2tool.com/category-35-b0-Launch+X431.html
