Hello all
I was checking a wiper prolem on a 2000 e39 and came up with these two codes under body control.
4B Changer over relay stage 1/2 wiper motor open circuit.
49 Relay for wiper motor open circuit.
Can't find any info any where for thes codes.

usually a wiper relay replacement fixes this .. check your service information syatem for relay location ....and count the number of pins on relay that's the easiest way to order ..by number of pins

I know the relays are problems with the E39, my concern was the code descripiton if i google code 49 it comes up with a converter trans code
