1. GDS has slidey covers on front and back the PAD does not
2. GDS uses cable connection, PAD is wireless because it uses Bluetooth dongle
3. GDS has smaller screen, PAD has much bigger screen
4. GDS cannot be used with Borescope unlike the PAD
5. GDS does not have HDMI output unlike the PAD
6. GDS has smaller memory size than PAD
7. GDS does not allow you to access windows, unlike the PAD
8. GDS does not come with all cables and connectors, unlike the PAD
9. GDS internet browser does not work, unlike the PAD which it works fine
10. GDS is much cheaper than the PAD
