I'm interested in buying this Launch III X-431 so I'm curious if it's possible to release rear calipers to exchange the brake pads on new BMW 5, 7 , Mercedes M-Class (166) 2011, VW Golf 7 and other new cars with this diagnostic device?

I can just speak for myself, but I got a $300 tow bill/Volvo diag bill because maximus would release calipers but not reset them(take them out of service mode). Idk about the vw or others, but it did not work for me on a volvo
