Hey kingcar. I believe it will turn on the DRL's on a 2004 Z4. It has ALOT of Bidirectional controls with the BMWs. As close to BMW's factory scan tool as I have found. Only problem is trying to find out what module you have to go into to toggle the DRLs on & off. Hope this helps...
