It's a brilliant diagnostic tool with the facility to record 8 hours of data. Unfortunately the manual that comes with the tool is seriously unhelpful as there are absolutely no instructions on how to configure the data-stream recorder.

The issues I've encountered is on the data-stream playback the tool just displays what is thinks I wish to see?  How do I get it to show the data I need to see? When does is start to record the live data-stream and when does it stop?  I have a Toyota Prius, Model: HNW20R.  I've just done an one hour drive and its only recorded 29 frames of data.

Since I have had it I've managed to record about 6(ish) times a set of parameters while watching the data-stream on the graphing option but I've seem to have done this by accident.  I'm having a guess that many more people will be scratching their heads on how to correctly set-up the tool's data recorder.

Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to set-up and use the data-stream recorded once enabled? What I'm after is capturing a set of parameters and view a few others as a graph, changing what is being plotted while not interrupting what is being recorded. The bit that has me beat is where the data-stream replay seems to decide what I want to see and gets it wrong.

Any help would very much welcome.
