Curious to know if my Launch X-431 Diagun can perform the function of resetting the charging system and registering the car's battery???

If it will, please tell me how? I do not have the most recent update, but I am told I can still register a 2005 BMW X5 using my launch X431; however, I cannot find the correct pathway to achieve this.

Demo, 2005 x5's are chassis code e53 which don't use battery registration. That started with the e70's
Level 1 tech at dealer
