If you have any CRP 123/129 series code reader you should try to update the Micro SD memory card on your windows XP/7 desktop. FIRST

But before you remove the SD card from the unit, you should access the main HELP menu and Tool Information screen and WRITE down your units register code because the register code is your default login password.

If you dont have the DIY updater installed on you desktop you can download directly from launchtechusa.com home page under CRP123/129 download.

Make sure your micro sd memory card is inserted into your USB port on laptop/desktop pc.
Then open the DIY updater icon and enter your units serial number and then register code.
Then you must wait a couple of minutes for all of the vehicle updates to queue up in the available download list.
Then just click on the Download tab and wait for all of the downloads to complete up to 100%.
Once your downloads are confirmed completed just eject your sd memory card from your desktop and instal into scan tool again.
The scan tool will prompt you to perform an automatic update and just click OK to confirm.
Once your scan tool boots back up and recovers you should be good to go.
