cannot get into advanced menu to retrieve transmission codes getting error code 5F07

Depending on the specific vehicle application most will have their own TCM/DSG module available thru the POWERTRAIN controls. 

If you have an older vehicle that requires an additional adapter or connector other than thru the standard OBD-16 pin DLC it may NOT be supported. 

You must also verify that your have the latest version of the firmware update and vehicle software. 

Can you please verify your units serial number so we can verify your software version?

tried again, downloaded updates, put the card back in and connected it to my pc. doesn't say update available anymore. what gives????? this is getting old in a hurry!!!!

you have to use adaptor in this case. because you are entering in tcm module
some old cars wants orignal adaptor like benz 38 e connector.
