Trying to reset car's immobiliser to a new keycode in 2003 Landrover Freelander1 SE3.
Using the X-431 Diagnostic Tool PAD II and updated LANDROVER software to V32.40
The data stream seems to work and talk to the car but it cannot find the immobilser when I'm connected via Bluetooth. Immobiliser is not an option...
When I plug micro-usb to usb (after disabling Bluetooth) the computer does not connect at all.
Has anyone had experience getting a diagnostic tool to recognize immobiliser in the Freelander 1 ?
Any further software upgrades or similar to help communicate? Maybe there is a technique when plugging usb cable or a special cable that is needed? I have tried many different avenues and none have worked so far. Thanks in advance for any advise
