I just had my Maximus for about two weeks. I like it so far but there are certain features I have not figured out yet. Some help would be appreciated:
#1 How do i playback captured data? How do I find captured data? I had a car come in with a bum o2 and I graphed it's signal, and recorded it. The tool tells me it has been captured, but I cannot find it anywhere. Nor do I find an option to playback said recording.
#2 Language settings. I own a shop and am the main user of the tool, however another tech who only speaks Spanish ocassionally uses the tool. I have found settings in the Android side which changes the OS language to Spanish, but the actual scantool continues to be in English. Where can I change the scanner app language to Spanish?
#3 Charging the unit. I have only had success charging the unit from the docking station, but the unit has a port on the top right as well which I assume is for charging off dock? Am I assuming cirrect here, because plugging the charger to this port does nothing.
#4 Picture VIN reading. I was told yoy can take a picture if the vehicle's VIN, and the unit would read the VIN off of the image. How can one do this?
Thank you for the time. Besides these small details, I am pretty pleased with the unit. I specialize on European cars, and it has worked great thus far.
