I bought a preowned Launch GDS x431 and it can only scan up to 2012, but i want to update it to 2014 or 2015. The subscription has expired that the previous owner had. I need help.

I had inquired for an update for my GDS that I had gotten 2 years ago and I was told by Matco Tools that Launch no longer supports my device. If this is the case I have wasted my money on your equipment.
