Mini Cooper Footwell Module Coding with Launch Pad 2???

I have a 2008 MINI COOPER S 1.6L DOHC. I'm buying a new Footwell module for it, but I have another question as well. Can my Launch code this module? and if I buy a used one, can it code that one as well? or is that module a 1 time coding thing? Procedure to code the module? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. :D

According to our latest vehicle coverage for MINI V12.10 DOES show coverage for Mini Cooper R55/R56 chassis code with FRM Footwell Module.
Since the Launch Pad 2 can support the BI-Directional controls you should be able to access the FRM module for coding and special functions.
Please note: The first step in the coding process is to recover and record the I.D. codes and calibration numbers from the original module.
If you cannot recover the calibration codes and I.D. numbers from original FRM module you must then use a J2534-Pass Thru Device to download the calibration files directly from the BMW www.bmwtechinfo.com
The exact procedures and coding details info for BMW/MINI is usually NOT FREE, you must subscribe to paid data base such as Identifix, Mitchell or AllData. For exact coding details.

Thank you for the fast response. I will try it out this week and see how it goes. If not, I will buy the program subscription from BMW which is only $30 and hopefully I can code it with my Passthru Pro 2

For anyone that might want to know. The launch will code and/or transfer the info from the old module to the new one, but if the old module is damaged, u will have to buy and code the module by buying the program from BMW. Which I had to do. Here in the USA it's only $30 for a day session. There's a 145 page guide book that I had to read and study before attempting to program. Once I did that, it was a 30 minute job to program/code the Footwell Module(Or as BMW calls it the FRM). While doing this replacement job, the computer had to code and program other modules just to do the Footwell Module, not sure why but it worked. Anyway, that's my story. THANK YOU!!! :D I used a PassThru Pro II From Snap-On.
