I have a GDS. Big problem accessing information on 2004 Cadillac DTS. Oddly enough, it is the second one in the course of a week. I am able to read codes. I am also able to run HVAC Module Calibrations (Only thing I really did on one of them). However. I am unable to retrieve any data values on any Body Modules. Including HVAC, Radio, Steering, Airbag, etc. Data values on Engine controls keep switching to 0 or to stars. I have recently upgraded the software.
Has anyone else had an issue like this on either Cadillac or any other vehicles? Is there a fix?
I have a GDS as well. I have had problems with accesssing information on a 2004 Lincoln Navigator with the air suspension and bcm data. Founded problem I had was a loose connection at the battery terminals. Try looking at the battery junction box for corrosion or the battery terminals themselves. Big problem I found with cadillacs is a poor ground for the module you are trying to access.
